Let us face it, mothers want to look stunning and have good hair days every day. However, there is just not enough time between preparing children and home chores, to pamper and style their hair. It is, however, possible for a mother to look stylish and that begins with a fantastic hairstyle. Busy mom hairstyles are the hairdos a mother can quickly put together on the go and manage to look fresh and fabulous. This article will discuss such hairstyles; a mom can hastily put together and not inconvenience their schedule.

Curly or Straight Hairstyles?

Most moms due to their tight schedules prefer straight hair because it is easier to comb and hairbrush through and does not require a lot of maintenance. Some, however, would wish to have curly hair if only it would not take a lot of time to style and maintain. This article will focus on hairstyles a mother can have for both curly and straight hair.

Top 7 Hairstyles for Busy Moms

  1. Ponytail

The ponytail never disappoints. This style is a favourite for many because it takes very little time to do. A lady can have the hairstyle all day long while going about her duties. The way to achieve a perfect ponytail is to gather the hair behind the ears, or higher then brush the hair smooth. Brush the hair from the hairline towards the hand. The final stage is to secure the bottom of the ponytail with a band or hair tie.

  1. Top Knot Bun

This hairstyle is closely related to a ponytail. The hairstyle is perfect because it secures the hair so that it does not get in the way of a mom as she runs about her day to day activities. A woman can have the style when running the day to day activities. To get the look, tie a high ponytail above the ears. Then gather the ponytail hair and wrap it around the base to make a bun which then one could secure with bobby pins if it is loose.

  1. Pinned Back Top Side

The good thing about this hairstyle is that it is fun and brings a youthful look to a woman. It is perfect for events such as weddings. A busy mom can whip up this style in less than a minute by just grabbing hair from the top sides of the head and securing it at the back of the head with a rubber band. She can add glamour to the style by twisting the ends and using accessories. This hairdo is great because it can be used for both curly and straight hair and still looks terrific.

  1. Braided Side

The side braid is an excellent hairstyle because it can last all day and will stay secured no need for touch-ups. This style is best for busy days and also for casual events like attending soccer practices. A mother can achieve this look by making a simple braid from the front, round to the back of the head. For a more sophisticated look, a lady can tie together the rest of the hair and the braid.

  1. The Fancy Half-up

This hairdo is perfect for short, medium and long hair. It looks great on both curly and straight hair too. A woman can do this style while attending casual events. The way to get this look is to gather half of the hair at the crown of the head then secure the ends with pins. The rest of the lower section of hair is let to fall back.

  1. Fishtail Braid

Just like a side braid, this hairdo is good for mothers because it stays secure for a long time and does not get in the way during activities a mother maybe. In addition to those advantages, the style looks terrific. This hairstyle is perfect for wearing all day, especially for mothers with small kids who do not want the hair getting in the way of them handling the baby. Braiding the fishtail braid is just like braiding a regular twist only that the twisting is done from the center outwards. A mother can decide to weave a loose or tight fishtail braid. Either way, the fabulous style stays secure all day long.

  1. Heat Free CurlsHairstyles

Most women love curls, and once in a while, a mother can have on curly hair that does not take too much time or maintenance. In this case, heat free curls are the answer. A mom can have this hairstyle for a fun day or days she wants to let her hair down as she has fun with her children or with friends. To get best results, mom only needs to wash and moisturize her hair the previous night, separate the hair and plait a few braids. Instead of weaving, one can also use hair rollers. Dry the hair and sleep with the braids or rollers intact. Undo the hair in the morning and voila, with little work rock the curls all day.

With these hairstyles, a busy mom can whip up a stunning hairdo in less than 10 minutes and get enough time to attend to her children and family duties looking and feeling beautiful, which she deserves. But if you have enough time, you can use Femjolie hairbrush to be a true beauty mom. Because everyone wants to be a beautiful man or a woman.

I’m almost always in a top knot b/c I hate hair falling in my face but I don’t want to cut it short. BTW, how did the chic in the third picture get “blonde” eyes?! Can’t decide if it’s cool or freaky. 😳
