By the time my children were around the age of two, they had stopped napping. I found that even though they would still nap if I put them down it created chaos for us a bedtime. Every night we would struggle with getting the kids to stay in their beds and the constant calling Mommy drove me crazy. I personally found that removing the nap made bedtime
What is Quiet Time?
Quiet time for us is normally 1.5 – 2 hours of quiet activities. My child normally will head to their room and read/look at books, work on puzzles or play with their toys. This is a great way from them to wind down a little before dinner time. I find it’s a nice break for all of us, it allows me to get things done around the house or even just read a book and have a cup of tea. It also give a little time to recharge and maybe focus on something other then who had what toy first.

In each room
Quiet time is a great way for children to learn how to play independently and also learn the importance taking time for yourself.
